Did you know? We als humans become hypothermic when the body temperature drops below 35 degree Celsius.

Hypothermia can occur with prolonged exposure to cold temperatures, wearing wet clothing, or swimming in cold water. Hypothermia can lead to serious health problems such as loss of coordination, confusion, and even life-threatening complications like cardiac arrest.

If you encounter someone who may be hypothermic, it’s important to act quickly. Move the person to a warm environment and remove wet clothing. Wrap them in warm blankets or clothing and give them something warm to drink, avoiding alcohol and caffeine. If the person is unconscious or not responding well, immediately call for medical assistance and begin CPR if necessary.
