The NRR stands for the Nederlandse Reanimatieraad (Resuscitation Council), which was founded in 1993. It is a collaborative body involving the Dutch Heart Foundation, the Dutch Red Cross, The Oranje Kruis, and the Association of Physicians (VVAA). The primary objective of the NRR was to achieve agreement regarding a standardized curriculum for basic resuscitation training in the Netherlands.
