Life Saving Skills Refresh (English) – First Aid for Children LEH
The Emergency First Aid to Children – LEH (Life-Saving Actions) course is specially developed for individuals and organizations involved in childcare, where certified emergency responders are required to assist children in urgent medical situations.
This refresher course complies with the Dutch Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations for childcare environments and equips participants with the essential skills to respond quickly and effectively to emergencies involving infants and children.
The course is suitable for anyone needing to renew their certification in Life Saving Skills (LEH) for Children, and can be followed both in the Netherlands and internationally through First Aid International’s global network.
Course Details
Target Group: Childcare professionals, nannies, teachers, school support staff, and other child supervisors
Training Level: Life Saving Skills Refresh (LEH Child – English)
Student/Instructor Ratio: Max 12 participants per instructor
Maximum Class Size: 24 participants (with 2 instructors)
Course Duration:
- Initial Training: 6 hours
- Refresher Course: 6 hours
Assessment:
- Ongoing evaluation of practical skills by the instructor
- Annual retraining is strongly recommended
Certificate Validity: 1 year from the date of completion
Accreditation: Approved by Health and Safety NL for childcare environments
Available Globally: This course can be followed worldwide through First Aid International

Assessment & Certification
